My name is Daisuke Kawashima, Chief Executive Officer of INTEC RESEARCH.

Based in Hanoi, Vietnam, INTEC RESEARCH works closely with Japanese and other international companies, as well as government agencies and local authorities in Vietnam and abroad. We support cross-border activities through services such as market research, marketing support, and the facilitation of public–private and industry–academia collaboration.

 

Through my daily work in Hanoi—a city where rapid economic growth coexists with rich history and culture—I have come to recognize that, in overseas expansion and international cooperation, the greatest obstacle to sound decision-making is not a lack of information, but rather a lack of accurate understanding of local realities and context.

 

For this reason, INTEC RESEARCH places strong emphasis on primary information rooted in local practice, rather than relying solely on desk-based data or secondary sources. We believe that what lies behind the numbers—people, institutions, customs, and the local “sense of reality”—constitutes truly meaningful information.

 

Our work goes beyond research and analysis alone. By leveraging our networks with government bodies, local authorities, and experts in Vietnam, as well as foreign government agencies and industry organizations operating in the country, we provide end-to-end support—from information gathering and practical coordination to on-the-ground execution.
